The Company was established in 1903 and is owned and managed by the Godwin family. We have built our reputation carrying out a wide and comprehensive range of construction work for a broad and varied clientele - a reputation for high quality work, completed on time and within budget.
We have developed an expertise in new build, restoration and refurbishment, civil engineering and repair and general maintenance work with values of up to approximately £1 million throughout England.
It may sound like a cliché but we really are large enough to cope and small enough to care - as our ongoing work list would show at any one time.

Whatever the nature and complexity of the work
SANDY & Co will probably have the answer!
Sandy & Co has built a trusted and efficient building industry specialist workforce. We directly employ our own teams of bricklayers, carpenters, joiners and labourers - the majority of which have been with us for many years, some as far back as leaving school. We encourage the training of new entrants into the trade and support them through day release and full time college courses. We believe the continuity this gives us shows through to great advantage in the results we achieve.
We pride ourselves on our proficiency with all aspects of the Construction Design Management Regulations.
Our management team includes two chartered quantity surveyors and two contracts managers supported by seven general foremen, an accountant, accounts supervisor and secretary. All of who use a computerised accounting and contract costing system for our client's security and peace of mind.
Our modern, well-equipped joiners' shop, capable of manufacturing bespoke and specialist joinery items ensures the expert support whatever the requirement on site.
